Balance, Coordination & Motor Skills

Some children trip more, tire faster, avoid the playground, or struggle to catch a ball — and get labelled 'clumsy'. Often it's developmental coordination disorder (DCD) or motor-planning difficulty, which is very trainable. We turn movement from a source of frustration into a source of confidence.

How we help

  • Movement assessment to map exactly which skills lag and why
  • Graded motor-skill training: balance, ball skills, bilateral coordination, motor planning
  • Core strength and postural endurance built through games
  • Sensory-motor work for children who seek or avoid movement
  • School and PE-teacher guidance so gains carry into the classroom

What a session looks like

  • 1Looks like the world's best PE class for one — obstacle courses, targets, climbing, games
  • 2Skills broken into achievable steps so your child succeeds early and often
  • 3Confidence is tracked as seriously as skills

Common questions

Won't my child just grow out of clumsiness?
Some do; many don't — and meanwhile they avoid the active play that builds skills, falling further behind. Targeted training reliably shortcuts that cycle.
How is this different from occupational therapy?
We focus on gross motor skills — whole-body movement, balance and strength. OT typically covers fine motor and daily-living skills. Many children benefit from both, and we happily coordinate.
